This was another good book in the Bay Harbor Wolves series. The main characters were likeable, as well as the secondary ones. I liked how the bad vampires, which included the second-in-command to Master Emmanuel Cabot ( the vampire MMC), were dealt with although I thought the battle was over rather quickly. I also liked how the wolves and vampires came together. However, I didn't think this book was as enjoyable to read as the other books in this series. This was because I really don't care for books featuring vampires because vampires usually have to drink blood in some way or other in other books I've read with them as MMCs. Personally, this just rubs me the wrong way. I bought the book because I like the Bay Harbor Wolves series and wanted to read the latest book in it. Like the other books I've read by this author, there were a fair amount of grammatical errors. Things like too many words in a sentence, wrong words used and so on. He really needs an editor or someone to proofread his books before publishing them. This author has a special knack for telling a great story but is not a great writer. Still, I very highly recommend this series because I always, always enjoy the stories that are told. The worldbuilding is fantastic and the characters are interesting and varied. If you are a stickler for perfect grammar and cannot accept lots of errors, especially regarding misused or varying tense, then this is definitely not the author for you. If you can get past that though, this is a great author to read. The pacing is wonderful and the story is very balanced. These are traits found in all books in this series. I definitely consider this series one that I will read again. I have of enjoyed every book in it up to this point.
